RULES OF THE ROAD
PRESENTATION
Teams will have 15 minutes – including set-up and questions. No exceptions.
TEAM ETHICS
Roster is the roster. Please do not add additional team members – or you will be DQed. No outside consulting – business stakeholders, or other CMGt SMEs. Vendors are excluded. Fresh code, no early development.
TEAM ELIGIBILITY
A team that wins either 1st or 2nd place prize, is not eligible for the People’s Choice Award. The People’s Choice Award will be based on SMS voting. All teams will be ranked based on the SMS voting.
WORK PRODUCT
If you worked on the project before the event, it’s not allowed to be submitted. If you do not have a working prototype, your score will be negatively impacted as a result. Everything built during the Hackathon is intended to be used (and owned) by Cox Media Group.
JUDGING CRITERIA
PRESENTATION
How well is the solution visually presented as a demo and ease of understanding. During the presentation portion, how well does the the team speak to its goals and capabilities.

Has the team successfully built a working prototype? How well does the solution accomplish the task it sets out to do. Can the solution be adopted within the existing platforms and ecosystem? If not, judges should score the idea lower.
BUSINESS VALUE
How well does the solution add value to CMG properties. This could be in one vertical, many verticals, or something used by CMGt specifically.
